University Avenue Tree Walk: City of Champaign

A walking guide through Champaign's urban forest.

"With over 20,000 street trees and an estimated 100,000 private trees, the residents of Champaign truly live in an urban forest. These tress provide shade, clean air, increase property value and provide a sense of well-being, lending beauty and character to our community. The University Avenue Tree Walk gives you an opportunity to view over 40 different tree species within a 3-block area. This guide identifies each tree by address and provides a short species description, as well as leaf, stem or fruit illustrations." [Page 1]
