Nature Experiences: Readings and References on Human Benefits

This factsheet includes a detailed list of readings and references pertaining to the ways trees contribute to human health and well being.

The factsheet provides a multitiude of links to research and readings in the ways urban green spaces contribute to and effect our quality of life.  A list of readings inspired by the "human urge to green" describes the plant/people relationships in the urban environment.  Two different research reference lists are also included.  The first list follows a path of reseach based on the benefits of people/plant contact.  The second provides a detailed list of research references based on how people "perceive, respond and act within outdoor settings" [page 2].
