A mixture of urban tree species best for removing atmospheric ozone

Researchers tested the seasonal and annual removal of ozone by three types of trees; evergreen broadleaf, deciduous broadleaf, and conifer. These results demonstrate that tree types play complementary roles in stabilizing ozone removal over time and across different environmental conditions.
