DUP: Flood-tolerance ranking of red and Freeman maple cultivars

Reference Type
Journal, Research (Article)

Flood-tolerant species have been recommended for use in urban settings because of their ability to produce new, shallow root systems--an adaptation that may aid root growth in compacted urban soils. Therefore, a ranking of cultivar flood tolerance might also be used to suggest which cultivars are best for planting in urban sites.
